Dr. Güneş Acar

Güneş has an MSc degree in Linguistics from Ankara University, and BSc degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from METU. Güneş obtained his PhD degree at KU Leuven, Belgium working on privacy technologies and web privacy. He then worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at COSIC research group of KU Leuven. Prior to that Güneş was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University’s Center for Information Technology Policy. His research interests involve web tracking measurement, anonymous communications, and IoT privacy and security.  He currently works as an Assistant Professor at Radboud Unviersity, Netherlands.
